DISSOLVINE GL-47-S

Dissolvine GL-47-S is a powerful green sequestrant produced a natural amino acid, with performance very similar to EDTA, another well-known sequestrant. However, unlike EDTA, Dissolvine GL-47-S is rapidly biodegradable, generating much lower environmental impacts.

Due to its chelating capacity, it can be used to treat hard water, removing metallic cations such as Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Copper and Manganese in a wide pH range.

This hardness control capacity promoted by Dissolvine GL-47-S can also be explored to ensure greater stability of formulations, preventing the metallic cations present in the medium destabilizing the formulation over time.

Dissolvine GL-47-S also exhibits effectiveness in combating molds and bacteria, both Gram-negative and Gram-positive, as it is able to deprive cell walls of cations, weakening them and enhancing the action of other biocidal substances. Several tests have indicated that the addition of Dissolvine GL-47-S to biocidal formulations reduces around 30% of the formulation cost, without affecting performance.
