Noxipon ESAC is an acrylic acid polymer emulsion used as a thickener in formulations of neutral to alkaline detergents and cleaners.

Noxipon ESAC diluted in water and neutralized (pH 8.00) with sodium hydroxide, ammonia, or other alkalizing agent, produces high viscosity solutions, especially when associated with sulfonic acid. Some examples of formulations are: dishwasher and laundry detergents, caustic degreasers, and gel cleaners.
