Ethomeen T-25 is a 15 EO ethoxylated greasy amine used primarily as a hydrotop and co-surfactant to stabilize emulsions and achieve micro-emulsions.
According to the formulation, it has a very distinct hydrotopping capacity other conventional hydrotopes (such as Butylglycol, Sodium Xylene Sulfonate, Sodium Cumene Sulfonate, etc...), making it possible to drastically reduce the concentration of hydrotop needed to obtain a translucent and stable solution.
This characteristic makes Ethomeen T-25 an excellent option for the following formulations: industrial, automotive and acid degreasers, emulsions of the O/W type (oil in water), miscellaneous acid detergents, concentrated detergents, formulation rich in low HLB surfactants (based on fatty alcohols and/or Nonyl Phenol Ethoxylate).

When developing products, many of the challenges we face have to do with solubility. In the overwhelming majority of cases, the best option for these challenges is to use a good hydrotrope.
