Dialkyl Chloride 75% is a cationic surfactant with excellent fabric softening performance. The alkyl radicals are basically composed of C16 and C18 carbon chains (originated bovine tallow), both saturated. 

This characteristic gives Dialkyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride 75% excellent properties in relation to the production of aqueous dispersions of high viscosity, compatibility with conservatives, fragrances and pigments, as well as high stability, both in concentrated and diluted form. 

For its dilution, it is necessary to heat the product between 40 and 45°C and add it to water at a maximum of 32°C. If the product is heated above 45°C or the water is above 32°C, the softener will not present viscosity. 

Solutions containing 2.5 to 3.5% Dialkyl Chloride 75% provide excellent softener quality, good fragrance fixation and good viscosity and stability. If desired to formulate softener with levels lower than 2.5%, we suggest the use of Noxipon TXT (softener thickener) to increase the viscosity of the product, increasing its softening performance and fragrance fixation.
