Dialkyl Chloride 50% is an ammonium quaternary with excellent performance in fabric softening, being the alkyl radicals basically composed by carbonic chains C16 and C18 (originated bovine tallow), both saturated.

This characteristic gives Dialkyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride 50% excellent properties regarding the production of high viscosity aqueous dispersions, compatibility with preservatives, fragrances and pigments, as well as high stability, both in concentrated and diluted form.

Its dilution can be done in cold water, however, in very cold regions there may be a need to heat the product itself to melt it.

Solutions containing 2.5 to 3.5% Dialkyl Chloride 50% provide a softener of excellent quality, good fragrance fixation, and good viscosity and stability. If you wish to formulate softener with contents lower than 2.5%, we suggest the use of Noxipon TXT (softener thickener) to increase the viscosity of the product, increasing its softening performance and perfume fixation.
